School Council

Our School Council are voted for by the children in each class. Every year, children are given the opportunity to present a speech to their class persuading them that they would be an excellent person to represent their views to the Council. This year we voted online - all very exciting!

The School Council meet regularly to discuss issues that have arisen that we think are important for our school. So far we have created our School Council display for our entrance hall; we enjoyed creating our mottos - take a look! We have had a chance to meet and interview candidates for teaching positions in our school, which we think is very exciting. Before Anti-Bullying week, we updated our anti-bullying leaflet for children to take home at the end of the week.

In our classes, we have discussed how we can make our lunchtimes even better. In Term 3 watch out for news about positive play!

    Anti-Bullying Week

We decided to wear blue and let blue balloons go at the end of Anti-Bullying week. We wrote messages about how bullying makes us feel and then let go of all those feelings. It was mesmerising watching the balloons float off into the sky as we sang "Lean on Me".
